So Flame's design was modified and he was given a main red color scheme to go along with the generic 'boy' vibe. In Spyro: Attack of the Rhynocs, after consuming a pepper in the Banana Sabanna, Spyro permanently gains the ability to use the Superflame by charging his normal fire breath.
